Product Overview of Fiber Optic Connector:
Fiber optic cables come with a huge variety of connectors, all with the sole purpose of fastening cables to each other securely. Although all these connectors function the same, there are slight advantages of using specific connectors. The SC connectors are designed with a push-pull mechanism, which reduces the potential of damage on the end face contacts of the fiber optics. Also, these connectors are found commonly in corporate networking systems. * The flex-angle boot is designed to bend and maintain any angle or direction from straight to 90°.
* The boot is molded over a single stainless steel wire and can be easily positioned by hand. Not only would this save space, but it would be less aggravating to work with as well.
* Typical values of IL can be less than 0.1dB.
