Product introduction of Drop Cable Stripper:
FTTH fiber optic drop cable stripper is used to peel 250um coating of 125um fiber optic, 1.98mm open pore at the top uses to peel protective covering of fiber optic pigtail.After manufacturers preset all of sizes, you do not need to adjust .All of cutting ends has precise mechanical tolerance to make operation clean and smooth. Handset is designed by human engineering theory, so you will feel comfortable when grasping. Please make pliers in the closed position if you don’t use it.An optical fiber stripper consists of a knife edge, a wire crimping port, and a pliers handle.
The handle of the wire stripper is covered with an insulating sleeve with rated working voltage of 500V.Wire stripper suitable for plastic, rubber insulated wire, cable core peeling. The use method is: put the thread to be peeled in the cutting edge of the pliers head, pinch the two pliers handles, and then loosen, the insulation skin and the core wire will come off.

Here are a few suggestions to help you use it safely and efficiently:
1. Always wear safety glasses when working with optical fiber.
2. The larger stripping notch at the tip of the tool with a 1.0 mm dia.the Jacket, hold firmly and strip off jacket material.
3. The smaller stripping notch close to the pivot point is designed to remove 250um buffer from 125um fiber.
a). Insert fiber into smaller notch of tool.
b). Close tool squarely with fiber ,hold firmly.
c). Draw the tool towards the end of the fiber exerting steady pressure. We recommend several short strips be made to acquire the desired finished length.
4. Always make sure the fiber stripping notch is clean and clear of any debris. If not clean, the tool will break fiber rather than strip it.
5. Tool may be cleaned with a soft bristle brush.
